Take a moment,

Every year since I lost Jack, I’ve went to the Togetherness and Hope Service.
The sick kids Chaplin Jim Meighan puts on the most beautiful annual service to remember all the children that have died.
The service is the one place where I can go and I don’t need to wear that mask or pretend I’m ok. In all honestly, I probably cry through most of the service and the beautiful music because it’s a place where I feel that I can cry, it’s ok to cry, it’s ok to feel sad, it’s ok to think about Jack and nothing else.
The service is so cathartic and therapeutic for me, I see the same parents come back year and year and we all that one thing in common, the death of our son or daughter.
To say I really missed the service this year, is an understatement but Jim and musician Martin kindly put this video together and if you do one thing tonight, try to watch it.
