Jack loved everything about the Hulk, embodying his courage, determination, and strength. In 2016, inspired by Jack’s spirit, Brightest Star opened Hulk’s Haven—a safe and supportive space for bereaved parents and siblings seeking solace and understanding.
Losing a child is an unimaginable experience, and it often requires the strength of the Hulk just to navigate the smallest daily tasks. Grief can be an isolating and overwhelming journey, and it’s important to recognise that each person’s grief is unique. The sorrow felt after the loss of a child is profoundly different from that experienced after losing another family member.
Hulk’s Haven serves as a dedicated Bereavement Hub, offering professional counselling and a welcoming environment for parents, grandparents, and siblings. Here, families can connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of community and support during one of life’s most challenging times.
