Precious Last Memories

This is one of my last precious memories and videos of Jack. We had gone for breakfast with Santa at Hamleys and as you can see, he was absolutely buzzing for Xmas and his 6th Birthday on Xmas Day.

It is so sad seeing how excited Jack was and knowing that he never lived another 3 weeks to see that Xmas. As I watch this video, I struggle to comprehend Jack could go from this happy, healthy little boy to lying in a hospital bed, fighting for his life to gone forever. Seeing him, talk and move makes this whole nightmare so real, I miss him so much.

This memory of Hamleys is one that I will remember for forever and it gives me comfort knowing how much Jack loved that day. When your child dies, memories are all that you left so this year, we have decided to give children who have lost a sibling, the chance to make a memory like Jack.
We have booked spaces at Santa’s Grotto Workshop in Hamleys Glasgow on Sunday 1st December at 1050 and 1140.

If you know a child aged 2-8 years old who has lost a sibling and would like a place…please get in touch and they can join Santa and his loveable elves at The Finest Toy Shop in the World for fun, magic and theatre at the most wonderful time of year. The Santa's Grotto Workshop at Hamleys is an extra special experience where children will take part in seasonal activities at the Hamleys North Pole, spend time with Santa and that's not all, you'll also receive an extra special gift bag to take home with you. During this group session each little guest will play fun games to become one of Santa's very own elves, learn very special elf songs and dances and meet Santa himself, all surrounded by the finest toys in the world.

Places are limited and on a first come basis. Thanks to everyone who fundraises and donates to Brightest Star, you allow us the chance to give the gift of memories to bereaved families.
