For Work

Whatever the size of your company, there are several different ways that your company can help Brightest Star.

Choose Us As Your Charity of the Year

Working together we aim to build a relationship with the key contacts within your company to put together a calendar of fundraising initiatives to raise money and awareness for a cause close to the hearts of your employees and customers.

5p Carrier Bag Charge

If 50 customers per day spent 5p on one of your carrier bags, this would raise £130 over the course of 1 year. This could allow four bereaved parents the opportunity to have a one on one session with our child bereavement counsellor.

Brightest Star Events

We have a fun, full and varied calendar of corporate events offering companies a great way to treat staff and customers to a memorable social occasion whilst raising much needed funds for the charity. Whether it’s our Annual Ball, Sportsman’s Dinner or one of our many sporting activities, there’s something for everyone in your workplace.

Collection Tin/Merchandise Box

You could place one of our collection tins or one of our merchandise box at your till point. The merchandise box includes Brightest Star bands, badges and trolley tokens.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is the easiest, most tax efficient way for your employees to give money to Brightest Star. If your company doesn't have a payroll giving scheme, you can set one up through a government approved agency, like the Charities Aid Foundation.

Brightest Star is always particularly grateful for donations of products and services which can be used as prizes for raffles and auctions at our fundraising events.

Matched Giving

Many companies operate a matched giving scheme whereby whatever money is raised by staff for Brightest Star is matched by the company.
